William (Bill) McNulty, 80 years old, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022. Bill was born in Rhode Island to John McNulty and Mary (LeClair) Boucher. Bill had a great sense of humor and was loved by many. He proudly served in the US Air Force for over 20 years and attained the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Bill traveled the world during his years of service, meeting his wife in England. He retired from the Air Force after 24 years and settled in Tucson, Arizona. He worked as a computer technician for IBM and was also a self-employed photographer. He loved capturing everything from weddings to school sports, some of his photos were featured in magazines. He retired due to illness at the age of 66. Bill is survived by his son Wayne McNulty of Arizona, his sister Elizabeth Frechette from Central Falls, Rhode Island, who along with her son Albert, was Bill’s caretaker for many years. He is also survived by his sister Evelyn Towner of Cumberland, Rhode Island. Bill came from a large family and leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his former wife Josephine McNulty of Arizona, and his two brothers John McNulty of Abilene, Texas and James McNulty of Coventry, Rhode Island.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, April 29th from 11am - 1pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery 359 Daggett Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861.
